10th International Conference on Precision Agriculture

July 28th, 2009

Dear International Precision Agriculture Community

It is a great pleasure for me to announce the 10th International Conference on Precision Agriculture (ICPA) to be held at the Hyatt Regency Tech Center in Denver, Colorado, USA from July 18th to July 21st, 2010.  It is a matter of pride for Denver, the mile high city, to once again host the ICPA conference in its Regional Technological hub “The Denver Tech Center”.

Precision agriculture is growing across the globe and so is the precision agricultural community. The 10th International Conference on Precision Agriculture is envisioned to be the largest ever; we anticipate over 500 attendees from all over the U.S and from over 40 countries (see program details, coming soon on www.icpaonline.org).

The ICPA conference will highlight significant research and applications in precision agriculture, and will showcase emerging technologies and information management. The ICPA conference will offer oral and poster presentations, exhibits, and opportunities for discussion and exchange of information in various aspects of precision agriculture. The dedicated session for practitioners entitled “Precision A to Z Track” will offers practical advise and training from international authorities on key topics of precision agriculture for producers and professionals.

The 10th ICPA conference will honor the achievements of a young and senior scientist with the “P.C. Robert Young and Senior Scientist Awards”. In addition, we plan to offer several awards in the graduate student category to recognize their work and encourage participation in the ICPA conference.

Please mark the conference dates on your calendar, July 18-21, 2010. The abstract submission process will open August 15th, 2009. We are looking forward to seeing you at the 10th International Conference on Precision Agriculture in Denver, Colorado, USA.
